An oak veneered MDF freestanding sign in XL format laser-engraved with “CASH PREFERRED PLEASE” — a prominent counter or table sign for shops, market stalls, cafés and any business where the payment preference needs to be clearly visible across a counter. 164×235mm with a removable freestanding base, single or double-sided. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.
The XL size makes this significantly more visible than the A5 and A4 versions — right for busy stalls, wide counters and anywhere customers approach from a distance. Also available in A5 and A4 sizes with or without a stand.
How to order
- Choose single or double-sided from the variants.
- Add to basket — the standard text is “CASH PREFERRED PLEASE”. If you want different wording, enter it in the personalisation box.

What is the difference between this and the smaller Cash Preferred sign?
This XL version (164×235mm) is significantly larger and more prominent. The A5 and A4 versions are more compact and suit till points and narrow counters. Both use the same oak veneered MDF and freestanding base.

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Our products are made from natural materials, including:
• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments
• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions
To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
