A cashless payments only sign laser-engraved on FSC-certified 4mm oak veneered MDF — a more considered alternative to a printed card or sticky label on your counter. Supplied with a stacked oak veneer base, it stands on any counter, till point or reception desk straight out of the packaging. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the wording?

Yes — add your preferred text in the personalisation box at checkout. Common alternatives include “Card and Contactless Only”, “No Cash Please”, “We Do Not Accept Cash” and “Cashless Business — Card Payments Only”.

Single or double sided — which should I choose?

Double sided is useful when your sign can be seen from both directions — for example on a counter where customers approach from either end, or on a market stall where the sign faces both the customer queue and the passing footfall.

What is the difference between this and the Card Payments Only sign?

Wording and base. This sign says "Cashless Payments Only — We Accept Card and Contactless" on a stacked oak base; the Card Payments Only sign says it from the card side on a push-fit base. Same sizes, same policy.

Is it legal to go cashless in the UK?

Yes — no UK business is required by law to accept cash. The practical point is to display the policy where customers read it before they order; see can a UK business refuse cash?

Do you do bulk orders for multi-site businesses?

Yes — bulk discounts apply automatically from 20 units: 10% off at 20, 15% at 50, 20% at 100, and more at higher quantities.

Can I add my logo?

Packaging

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

All items are made to order.

Orders are typically sent using Royal Mail:

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
