This collection is driven by material, not by product type: anything we make from FSC-certified oak veneered MDF or FSC-certified Moso bamboo appears here automatically, which is most of the catalogue. What it excludes is just as deliberate — solid oak blocks, birch plywood items and slate coasters are not FSC-certified and are not in this collection. For a browse by material rather than by certification, see the bamboo range.

FSC certification — what is and is not claimed
Oak veneered MDF is FSC-certified. The certificate sits with our material supplier, so the claim is a text claim — our oak products carry no FSC logo and we do not publish a certificate number for this material. Moso bamboo carries FSC Chain of Custody certificate RINA-COC-001256, which can be checked on the public FSC database. Cherry Grove Craft is not itself an FSC certificate holder, and we say so wherever the certification is mentioned. Our guide to how FSC Chain of Custody works explains the distinction and how to verify a certificate yourself.
Plastic content
Signs are wood only, or wood and jute twine on hanging designs. Keyrings are wood and a metal split ring. Magnetic name badges are wood and metal; pin and pin-and-clip badges contain plastic in the fastening, so we make no plastic-free claim for those. Every order is dispatched in a card envelope or corrugated box with paper tape and paper void fill — no plastic. Each product page states its own plastic content in the specification.
Using these products as audit evidence
Green Key's 2026–2031 criteria, in force since 1 October 2026, put procurement in a chapter of its own with an imperative Sustainable Procurement Policy requirement, and GSTC criterion D1.1 asks that purchasing policies favour environmentally sustainable suppliers and products. An FSC-certified material claim and a plastic-free packaging line are the kind of specific, checkable facts those files need. Our guide to procurement evidence sets out the criteria and exactly what to file.
Personalisation
Type your wording in the personalisation box on the product page. Products with a logo upload button take a PNG or JPG; black-and-white artwork engraves most sharply and most colour logos convert without charge. Proofs are not supplied as standard — request one in the personalisation box if you need to see the layout first.

Frequently asked questions
What does "eco-friendly" mean in this collection?
Two checkable facts and nothing more: the material carries FSC Chain of Custody certification (oak veneered MDF, or Moso bamboo under certificate RINA-COC-001256), and the order ships in card and paper with no plastic packaging. We do not claim carbon neutrality or make any other environmental claim.
Why are some of your products missing from this collection?
Solid oak blocks, birch plywood items and slate coasters are made from materials that are not FSC-certified, so they are left out rather than described loosely. Their own product pages say what they are.
Can I use these products as evidence for a Green Key or Green Tourism application?
Yes, as a specific procurement fact: file the invoice, the product page specification with its material and plastic-content lines, and for bamboo the certificate number. Our guide to procurement evidence lists the criteria and the wording to use — and what not to claim.
Is Cherry Grove Craft FSC-certified?
No. The certificates belong to our material suppliers. That is why oak products carry a text claim only, and why the bamboo certificate number is quoted as the supplier's.
Are the name badges plastic-free?
Magnetic badges are wood and metal only. Pin and pin-and-clip badges contain plastic in the fastening, so choose the magnetic fastening if plastic content matters to your file.
