Wooden name badges are reusable, personalised staff badges laser-engraved from oak or FSC-certified bamboo. They look significantly better than plastic alternatives on reception desks, at events, and in customer-facing roles — and because they are engraved rather than printed, the finish does not fade or peel.

Oak name badges
Our oak name badges are laser-engraved on 4mm oak veneered MDF — a warm, professional finish available in oval, rectangular and portrait formats. Eight sizes from small lapel badges to large event badges. Single line or dual-line text, with optional logo.
FSC bamboo name badges
The bamboo name badges use FSC-certified Moso bamboo (certificate RINA-COC-001256) — a lighter, more uniform grain with strong sustainability credentials for teams that want to signal eco values. Same size range as oak.
QR code name badges
QR code name badges are double-sided and portrait format — name and role on one side, a scannable QR code on the other linking to a LinkedIn profile, contact card, or website. Supplied with eco lanyards.
Reusable blackboard badges
Our reusable blackboard name badges have a wipeable surface — write with chalk or chalk pen, wipe clean and reuse. Ideal for events, conferences and delegate packs where names change session to session.
Eco staff badges with lanyards

Wooden vs plastic name badges
Plastic name badges are cheaper per unit but carry a real environmental cost and look functional at best. Wooden badges — particularly bamboo — are frequently kept by staff and delegates rather than discarded, which makes them more effective as a brand touchpoint. They are also significantly more durable than paper inserts in plastic holders. For hotels and hospitality venues where first impressions matter, the difference is visible.

Frequently asked questions
Can you engrave our logo on the badges?
Yes — logo engraving is included. Upload a black-and-white version of your logo at checkout. Colour logos are usually convertible — include your file and we will confirm before cutting.
Can each badge have a different name?
Yes — each badge is engraved individually to order. Add each name in the personalisation box, or for large orders contact us for a bulk name list process.
What fixings do the badges use?
Badges are available with a magnetic fixing, a pin, or a clip. Magnetic fixings are the most popular for fabric and knitwear. Select your preferred fixing at checkout.
Are the badges suitable for outdoor events?
The badges are made for indoor use. Oak veneered MDF and bamboo are not weatherproof — for outdoor events, consider a covered lanyard version to protect the badge face from rain.
How quickly can you turn around a bulk badge order?
Dispatch times are shown at checkout. All badges are made to order. For time-sensitive events, order as early as possible and check the dispatch time before completing your order.
