Wooden Hotel Supplies — A Complete Guide to Door Hangers, Key Tags, Signs & QR Codes

Door hangers

Every hanger is double-sided — Do Not Disturb on one face, a housekeeping message on the other — on a 51mm hole, with wide and open-hook formats for large handles.

• Oak, square top, 203×89mm — Please Do Not Disturb / Please Clean the Room. Oak only.
• Oak, rounded top, 210×89mm — Do Not Disturb / Refresh & Renew, the softer wording boutique and spa hotels tend to choose.
• Bamboo, classic horizontal and bamboo, vertical text — FSC-certified Moso bamboo (certificate RINA-COC-001256), for properties working towards Green Key or Green Tourism. FSC is a recognised eco-label, and the hotel certification schemes ask for exactly this kind of purchase. Green Key's 2022–2025 hotel criteria include an imperative supplier-engagement criterion (13.4), a guideline that at least five purchased products arrive without plastic packaging (6.18) and a guideline for eco-labelled materials in refurbishments (9.5); the 2026–2031 criteria add an imperative written Sustainable Procurement Policy. Green Tourism scores sustainable procurement, and GSTC criterion D1.1 asks that purchasing policies favour environmentally sustainable suppliers and products. Room key tags

A key tag travels with the guest for the whole stay. Four oak formats:

• 90×25mm with property name — room number on one line, property name on the other.
• 90×25mm, natural or Danish oil finish — room number only, in either finish.
• Room key fobs — any wording: room name, number, floor or a combination.
• XL 200×80mm keyrings — too large to pocket by accident, with space for logo, room number and a short house-rules line.

WiFi, review and menu QR code signs

A QR code sign replaces printed WiFi cards, review slips and paper menus.

• Freestanding WiFi QR code sign — 74×112mm or 115×168mm, single or double-sided; scanning connects the phone to the network without typing a password.
• Solid oak WiFi QR code block — a 20mm solid oak block in two sizes that stands without a base; harder to pocket and more substantial on a desk.
• WiFi password sign — wall or door mounted in four sizes, QR code or printed-style text, for lobbies and shared rooms.

• Scan for Menu sign and custom QR code oak blocks — for restaurant tables and room service; the double-sided block carries the menu on one face and WiFi or reviews on the other.

Room and facility name plates

Hotel and spa room signs are nameplate-format oak in four sizes from 200×50mm to 580×146mm, for bedroom numbers, suite names, Spa, Gym, Restaurant, Bar and meeting rooms. Wall-mounted through pre-drilled holes or a plain back for your own adhesive pads — state which in the personalisation box.

Direction and wayfinding signs

Oak direction signs take any wording and an arrow in four sizes — Reception, Car Park, Pool, Restaurant, Lift, Deliveries. Hung on jute string or fixed flat with your own adhesive pads.

Toilet and facility signs

Oak toilet signs come in 14 layouts — men, women, accessible, combined, left and right arrows, or your own mix — and four sizes from 102×74mm to 270×190mm. Opening hours signs

For restaurants, spas, gyms, pools and reception desks that are not open all day. The custom opening hours sign is engraved with your hours for each day alongside your name and logo, in four sizes. Hours change, so order it last, once the opening schedule is fixed.

Dog-friendly signs

For properties that welcome dogs: a dog-friendly open/closed sign for the door, and No Dogs on Furniture and No Dogs Upstairs signs for rooms and corridors.

Materials and packaging

Everything above is engraved into FSC-certified 4mm oak veneered MDF or FSC-certified Moso bamboo (certificate RINA-COC-001256) — cut into the wood, with no ink or laminate to fail. Hangers, signs, plates and blocks are wood only; keyrings add a metal split ring; magnetic name badges are plastic-free, pin and pin-and-clip badges are not. Orders are dispatched without plastic packaging. All items are for indoor use.

Each product is its own line with its own logo upload and personalisation box. Upload the same logo file on each product and the engraving matches across the set. Bulk discounts apply automatically at checkout, with no code, and count units of the same product: 20 units 10%, 50 units 15%, 100 units 20%, 250 units 25%, 500 units 30%, 1,000 units 35%. How do I order 30 key tags with different room numbers?
List the room numbers in the personalisation box, one per line, and set the quantity to 30. Every tag is engraved individually from your list.

Does the bulk discount cover a whole hotel order or each product?
Each product. Twenty door hangers reach 10% off on the hangers; twenty key tags reach 10% off on the key tags. Mixed orders are discounted line by line.

Which wooden hotel supplies are plastic-free?
Door hangers, signs, room plates and QR blocks are wood only; keyrings are wood with a metal split ring. Magnetic name badges are plastic-free; pin and pin-and-clip badges are not. Packaging is a card envelope or corrugated box with paper tape and paper void fill.

Can wooden hotel supplies be used outdoors?
They are for indoor use. A covered entrance or sheltered terrace is fine; a fully exposed wall or garden is not.
